Smile VPN does not open an account for you, does not read chat or post content, and does not sell personal information. 1. Who this policy covers၁. ဘယ်သူ့အတွက်လဲ
Smile Thai VPN operates the Android app named Smile VPN and the website smilethaivpn.com. The app is a per-app VPN for selected Meta apps. It is not a Windows or macOS product, and it does not offer a signed-in membership. 2. Information the app handles၂. App က ကိုင်တွယ်သော အချက်အလက်
There is no name, email, phone number or password inside the app. The pieces below are what the installation uses to connect.App ထဲမှာ နာမည်၊ email၊ ဖုန်းနံပါတ်၊ စကားဝှက် မရှိပါ။ ချိတ်ဖို့ အောက်က အချက်တွေကို သုံးပါတယ်။
- Installation id. On first launch the app creates a random id and keeps it in app storage. Our backend receives that id with session requests so one installation can be told apart from another. - Signed requests. Session calls include a timestamp, a one-time nonce, the installation id and a signature. We use those to reject stale or repeated calls. The signature secret stays in the app build and on the server. - Session record. When a tunnel starts we store the session id, installation id, chosen server, whether the session followed a rewarded ad or the free path, the start time and the expiry time. Disconnecting or a failed start marks the session ended. - On the phone. The app remembers the installation id, the server you last picked, and ad timing such as when a full-screen ad was last shown. While a tunnel is starting, a VPN configuration is written for the engine and then deleted from app files. It is deleted again when you disconnect. - Which apps are installed. Android is asked whether Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp or their Lite or Business packages are on the phone. Only packages from that fixed list that are actually installed are added to the tunnel. 3. VPN traffic၃. VPN traffic
After you accept Android’s VPN permission, Smile VPN uses VpnService in per-app mode. Traffic from the selected packages is carried to the VPN server you chose. Other apps, including the browser, keep their normal connection. For traffic that is inside the tunnel, the phone and the VPN server handle packets, the source address and the destination address or name while the session is up. That is required to route the connection. The link between the phone and the VPN server is encrypted by the VPN engine. Sites and apps you open still follow their own privacy rules. 4. Advertising၄. ကြော်ငြာ
The free app is supported by ads. When ads are switched on, Google Mobile Ads may show a banner, an app-open ad after you return from the background, an interstitial on a timer, a full-screen ad after connect, and a rewarded or rewarded-interstitial ad on the connect action. Which of those run, and how many minutes sit between them, is set on our dashboard. If a rewarded ad is completed, the app can start the rewarded session length. Google and the mediation networks enabled for those units, which can include Liftoff, Unity Ads and InMobi, may process an advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions under their own rules. Smile VPN does not ask for location permission. You can reset or delete the Android advertising identifier, and limit ad personalization, in Android settings. 5. The VPN notification၅. VPN အသိပေးချက်
Android requires a notification while a VPN is connected. Smile VPN shows a status notification with a disconnect action. On Android 13 and newer the app asks for notification permission so that status can appear. 6. Website and messages you send us၆. ဝက်ဘ်ဆိုက်နဲ့ သင်ပို့သော စာ
The site is static pages plus a small API for the public server list, the minute settings and session calls. Hosting and the server that runs the site process IP address, browser type, the time of the request and the page or API path, including security logs. 7. Why we use this information၇. ဘာကြောင့် သုံးလဲ

We use hosting for the website and API, and VPN servers that carry the selected apps’ traffic. Google Mobile Ads and enabled mediation partners process ad requests. If you contact us, the email or Telegram provider carries that message. Those companies act under their own terms for the part of the work they perform. We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the service or other people, or to investigate abuse. Ad partners may treat some ad data as shared under privacy laws in your country even when no money is paid to us. 9. How long we keep it၉. ဘယ်လောက်ကြာ ထားလဲ
A session stays open until you disconnect, the start fails, the clock runs out, or a newer session for the same installation replaces it. Records whose expiry is more than about seven days old are dropped when the session store is next updated. The access key used to open the tunnel is removed from the app’s files at connect and again at disconnect. Support mail is kept while we need it to finish the request and keep a reasonable record. You can ask us to delete the installation id and the sessions tied to it. 10. Security၁၀. လုံခြုံရေး
App-to-backend calls use HTTPS. Session calls are signed and limited in rate. Cleartext traffic for the app is disabled. Android backup and device-to-device extraction of the app’s data are excluded. The public server list does not include access keys, and looking up a session id does not return a key. None of this is a promise of perfect security. You can refuse the VPN permission, disconnect, close an ad with the control it offers, deny notification permission, limit ads in Android settings, clear the app’s storage, ask for deletion, or uninstall. Depending on where you live you may also have a right to access, correct, delete or object to personal information we hold. Smile VPN is not made for children under 13, or under a higher age if your local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Hosting, VPN servers and advertising partners may process information in countries other than yours, where the rules differ. If this policy changes we will post the new date on this page.
